You are welcome to join our events and excursions!
Throughout the semester, the excursions organized by the International Office give foreign students the chance to get to know the country they're studying in!
In order to take part in an excursion, please contact the "Kasse" (Pay-office of the Finance Department) at building R, room 102. You register for the excursion by paying the fee.

Auto & Technik Museum Sinsheim
Have you ever flown on a Concorde? Just take a seat and enjoy your flight. Covering an area of over 30,000 m2 indoors and open-air grounds comprising in excess of 50,000 m2, the site offers more than 3,000 exhibits. Among them are the original Concorde of Air France and the Russian supersonic jet Tupolev TU-144, 300 vintage cars, 200 motorbikes, 40 race and sports, airplanes, locomotives, tractors, steam engines, and trucks. After a lunch break we will have the pleasure of experiencing a three-dimensional movie on a giant 20x27m screen.

Mercedes Benz Museum Stuttgart
Stuttgart, the capital of Baden-Württemberg, lies at the heart of the car manufacturing industry, in which Mercedes Benz occupies a unique place. On a guided tour through the museum we will discover the history of the automobile industry.

Heidelberg - Königsstuhl
A visit to Heidelberg with its world-famous castle and its beautiful old town is a must. Come and see Germany's oldest university as well as the historic streets and enjoy the lively university scene of Heidelberg.
After a guided tour of the castle and around the city you will have time to stroll through the attractive shopping mile.

Wissembourg
The medieval French town of Wissembourg, set in a landscape of rolling wheat fields, is well worth visiting. It retains a former Augustinian convent (1279) with a large-scale Gothic church, timber-framed houses and some of the most beautiful churches in the Rinebasin.

The town's unique position as a university location on the shores of Lake Constance and the River Rhine, and its proximity to Switzerland, Austria and Liechtenstein, make Constance an ideal destination and touring base for excursions through its old town and the surrounding region.
