The study programs of the Faculty of Geomatics deal with the acquisition of spatial data, its processing, modeling and visualization. Therefore, intensive training ranges from terrestrial surveying to the analysis of satellite imagery, the generating of virtual 3D models, the setting-up of geographic information systems and the creating of analog and digital maps.

The internationally oriented Master’s degree program is unique in combining the study of cartography and geodesy with a focus on computer-aided visualisation, communication and use of geospatial information, the spatial analysis in the context of information and communication technology as well as acquisition, statistical modeling and georeferencing of hybrid data.
