Additional study options for international students: Languages

German as a Foreign Language (4 ECTS each)

Levels: There will be two-week intensive courses in September, prior to the beginning of the program, and courses during the program at six levels (A1.1; A1.2; A2.1; A2.2; B1.1; B1.2).

Germany Today (2 ECTS)

Topics: selected topics of German life, culture, history, and politics, such as: essential events in German history; German traditions and customs; German federalism and its impact on political and cultural life; current developments in German politics, economy and media; everyday life in Germany.

Foreign Language Program

The Foreign Language Institute (IFS) coordinates the foreign language program at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. Courses in a variety of languages are offered. For further information please consult the IFS website.
