Application Process

  1. Please fill out online application form (German-language only).
  2. Print out application and send by post together with application documents (see "Admission requirements") to:

  3. 2-4 weeks after application deadline, you will receive either a rejection or acceptance letter.
    Rejected applicants are automatically placed on the waiting list for places not taken up by admitted applicants. The final placement can take place as late as 1 week after the start of lectures. Rejected applicants may either keep their application active for the following semester, or request their application documents back.

    The acceptance letter includes all relevant registration information as well as tuition payment details.

Applicants from Non-EU countries to Bachelor's programs

Your certificates will be evaluated by ASK Konstanz. Rule of thumb: you must have AT LEAST an education level which would allow university entrance in your home country.

  • If direct application to a study program is possible, you will receive the ASK certificate.
  • If direct application is not possible, ASK Konstanz offers a one-year preparatory course to pass the Feststellungsprüfung (university entrance exam) in the group of subjects appropriate for your intended study program. You will receive a Feststellungsprüfung certificate for this.

The ASK certificate / Feststellungsprüfung certificate is not an admission to HsKA, but an evaluation certificate. It is required for the application process at HsKA. The ASK certificate / Feststellungsprüfung certificate can be used for application to every universitiy of applied sciences in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg.

If you have not yet received the ASK / Feststellungsprüfung certificate but are about to miss the HsKA application deadline (15 July or 15 January), please apply first at HsKA and hand in the certificate as soon as you receive it.

Applicants to Master's program in Geomatics
