Institut für Grund- und Straßenbau IGS (Institute of Geotechnical Engineering and Road Construction)

Your partner for research, development, and consultancy!

The Institute of Geotechnical Engineering and Road Construction (IGS), located at faculty-level, was founded in December 2012. It is tasked with research, development, and consultancy in the areas of geotechnical engineering and road construction, especially asphalt technology. The IGS also carries out third-party funded assignments by public authorities, companies and engineering consultants, such as tests and expert's reports. We would be pleased to assist with your project, too. For further information, please contact us at the address listed at the right column.

In addition, the IGS provides laboratory classes for students as well as offering opportunities to carry out practical bachelor's and master's thesis projects.
