The bachelor's programs at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics (MMT) take seven semesters to study. They are divided into foundation courses and advanced courses.
The foundation courses (1st and 2nd semester) cover basics of engineering. For the advanced courses, students can choose from different specializations according to their degree program.
By the advanced courses (from the 3rd semester onwards) students develop the acquired knowledge, thus obtaining the basis required for the manifold applications in their future jobs.
The 5th semester is an internship semester taking place in a company or similar institution.
The studies are concluded by the bachelor's thesis after the 7th semester.
