Michael Siebers, a Computer Science graduate of Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, made it onto this year’s “Forbes 30 under 30 Europe“ list in the categories of “Technology“ and “Big Money“. Under the “30 under 30” heading, Forbes Magazine, one of the world’s most influential business magazines, features young pioneers in various categories.
29-year old Michael Siebers is cofounder and CTO (Chief Technical Officer) of Holidu, a German search engine for vacation rentals, which identifies properties on different platforms and generates a reliable price comparison. The company was founded by Mr. Siebers with his brother in 2014 with support from his Computer Science professors and a start-up fund of the State of Baden-Württemberg. To date it has raised $34 million. Prior to cofounding Holidu, Siebers was one of Zalando's early engineers and helped build its tech infrastructure alongside Zalando's former CTO, Arash Yalpani, who today is investor and adviser to Holidu.
