Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences was yet again featured in U-Multirank, an international university ranking portal, along with only a few other universities of applied sciences in the state of Baden-Württemberg, confirming the high importance of HsKA’s international orientation. U-Multirank, sponsored by the EU, has published its rankings since 2014.
This year, around 1,700 universities from 96 countries participated in the ranking, which takes into consideration a variety of indicators that evaluate the strengths of each university.
Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences achieved five top scores regarding its international orientation, research, and regional cooperation, as well as four good reviews for international orientation, research, and teaching and learning. These results indicate that the University is headed in the right direction to achieve its strategic goals.
U-Multirank allows users to use the platform according to individual interests and demands. By choosing individual criteria, universities with similar characteristics can be compared side-by-side. Instead of creating list rankings, U-Multirank considers several indicators (teaching and learning, research, know-how transfer, international orientation, and regional cooperation) that are classified from “weak” to “very good”. The reviews are based on students’ evaluations and data provided by the universities.
