He is very happy with the excellent results his university has achieved in the current ranking. "The results reflect the experience HR managers of German companies have made with our graduates and that speaks for the quality of our degree programs. The results are also due to the fact that we include our students, particularly further along in their studies, in research projects. The results of the current Wirtschaftswoche ranking confirm other ranking results as well. As recently as this past May, we were awarded top ratings for several degree programs in the renowned CHE University Ranking."
When asked what criteria they considered the most important for the selection of applicants, the HR managers responded that aside from the subject studied and the applicant's personality, practical experience and a very good knowledge of English were of particular importance. Then the type of degree – Bachelor, Master, Diploma – was considered, followed by the grades. In terms of the so-called soft skills, solution-oriented thinking, self-reliance, and communication skills played an important role.
