New Bachelor's program in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology
Starting with winter semester 2018/2019, the new bachelor's program in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology is available. This program is designed to offer a sound basic education in the area of electrical engineering and information technology, continuing with new and cutting-edge specializations in the areas of industrial automation, Power Engineering and Renewable Energy, Electromobility and Autonomous Systems, Information Technology, Sensor Technology, and Environmental Instrumentation. Engineering Teacher at Vocational Schools
German vocational schools (Technisches Gymnasium, Berufskolleg, Technische Oberschule, Berufsschule) are urgently looking for specialized staff teaching especially engineering subjects. Thus, Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences co-operates with the University of Education Karlsruhe to design a program which enables students of the new bachelor's program in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology to graduate as an engineer and then continue to qualify for a degree to teach at a vocational school.
