The Tricontinental Master in Global Studies is an international Master Program offered by the faculty of Management Science and Engineering at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. As students come from three nations at least, students have the possibility to organize an excursion in order to grow together as a group.
Known for its scenic beauty, sparkling intellectual milieu, high standard of living and progressive environmental practices, it was Freiburg that this year’s TRIM generation chose for a team-building excursion.
Refreshed at one of the 20 stands of the Freiburg Food Market Hall, the group started off with an escape room challenge, discovering the sights of Freiburg straddling the Bächle (an unusual system of gutters). As a team, the TRIMs managed to save the City’s water provision system from being poisoned. After the effort, the group enjoyed their favourite dishes cooked at the accommodation for their class mates and a wine tasting. After a memorable brunch in stylish ambiance, a City tour (carefully presenting fun facts and historical sights including climbing the gothic minster cathedrals belfry) the next team challenge awaited the group at the Laser Tag experience. Again, this year’s TRIMs outperformed all opposing teams after having been initiated to the game.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the University’s Department of International Relations for all the support and generous funding.
Go-go-TRIMs-! for more adventures ahead of you.
